We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join as a Sr. Manager, Business Coach for the Middle Mile team to manage a team (7+ employees) focused on Amazon Freight Partner (AFP) relationships to ensure they are set up to succeed. This person will manage AFP readiness through onboarding and training curricula and audit processes that support standard work. We are seeking bar-raising candidates who are able to:
- Engage and develop a team of talented business coaches
- Provide best in class support for AFPs with scalable tracking process
- Partner with cross functional stakeholders to drive a culture of professional service
- Identify, develop and improve strategies for the AFP onboarding and training process
- Provide reports to leaders of health and training proficiency weekly/monthly
The ideal candidate is customer obsessed, highly organized, works effectively with internal and external contacts, has the ability to shift gears at a moment's notice and enjoys the challenges of developing and improving processes in a dynamic organization. The successful candidate will also have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, superior attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Moreover, the ability to work in dynamic and ambiguous areas is imperative. Operational knowledge of wide variety of and contractual concepts is essential to perform the role successfully.

- [li]Bachelor’s Degree
- 8+ years experience in account management, management, and/or management within a cross-functional organization
- 5+ years experience managing a team
- Experience as a customer as well as a provider
- Last Mile, Operations, and/or small parcel packaging experience
- Experience operating small businesses
- Candidate must be flexible with hours and travel (approximately 30%-60% on average depending on business projects)

- Technical aptitude and familiarity with the design and utilization of complex systems
- Superior analytical and quantitative skills, comfortable with complex financial data
- Track record of delivering results, setting strategy, and running a large volume and high profile business
- Demonstrated skill at building relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interface with all levels of the organization, specific strength in setting and managing expectations
- Problem solver, able to troubleshoot issues independently or escalate when necessary - sense of accountability and sound professional judgment

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $238,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
