Job Summary: The Registration Services Associate provides registration support.

Additional Department Summary: Provides registration support for the Office of Teaching Innovation and Digital Education programs. Provides customer support. Utilizes the registration system to provide services to a customer base with various backgrounds and experiences (students, businesses, government agencies, individuals, association members, etc.). Provides registration services to internal and external customers. Manages customer information. Prepares registration materials for academic credit and continuing education units, and running ad-hoc reports as needed. Performs a variety of computing administration, data entry/management and technical troubleshooting in accordance with established departmental procedures.

Required Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED.

Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Requires some overnight travel on evenings and weekends, both in-state and out-of-state.

Skills and Knowledge: Proficiency in MS Office applications including Outlook, MS Word and Excel. Strong organizational and planning skills. Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Excellent customer service skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well within a team and share responsibilities with others. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills. Ability to problem-solve in a technical environment. Ability to learn new software and technology. Ability to lift or carry boxes up to 30 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with digital records systems in an educational or business environment. Experience with handling financial payments and other transactions. PCI compliance and computer-based registration systems experience.
