Practical Law is the market-leading provider of practice guidance for legal users. We are a global team that develops products and solutions that bring the expertise of our 600+ attorney editors to our customers by delivering that expertise throughout our native applications and tools as well as fueling other TR products that rely on subject matter expertise. TR has a bold vision to be the leader in AI-powered, content-driven technology, and the Senior PM, Practical Law will work closely with colleagues from Product, Compliance, Engineering, TR Labs, and Design teams who are already dedicated to delivering on this mission. Teams are working closely with customers to create a product experience that is unmatched in the market today. In this role, you will work with leaders and stakeholders from these teams in refining our product roadmap, while also playing a hands-on role in leading cross-functional distributed product teams through product discovery and delivery. 

 

About the Role 

Senior Product Manager, Practical Law will own the vision, direction, and priorities for the feature or product area they are responsible for, managing the product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical execution. The Sr. PM, Practical Law will have a strong technical background and a firm understanding of AI and ML technologies and how to develop solutions that build upon Practical Law content and expertise to solve customer problems. They will be comfortable with ambiguity and the need to respond to a rapidly evolving market. The Sr. PM, Practical Law will work closely with colleagues in editorial, as well as other product groups, to deliver solutions of the highest quality, accuracy, and customer value. The Sr. PM, Practical Law will be able to communicate customer needs crisply and succinctly across the organization and work with design and engineering teams to translate those needs into clear priorities, compelling roadmaps, and high-impact, innovative solutionsThe balance between tactical execution and strategic vision is critical at this level as is the ability to coordinate across multiple functions simultaneously.
