Job Summary:
IT Director oversees the Data Center infrastructure and operations within the organization. The main duties include identifying the organization and business needs, applying enhancements and updates according to established company standards, and ensuring employees’ technical issues are resolved according to SLA.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure smooth delivery and operation of Data Center services by monitoring systems and applications performance
- Evaluate and implement technology and service enhancements related to commercial products and services, and custom in-house applications
- Create processes and standards for selection, implementation, and support of systems
- Provide direction, guidance, and training to Data Center security staff
- Analyze data, and develop and present data driven reports
- Develop strategy as it relates to the organization's Data Center infrastructure, including servers, work stations, networking systems, and cloud vs. on-prem services
- Consult senior-level stakeholders across the entire organization to identify business and technology needs
- Develop and maintain Data Center policies, procedures and standards
- Work with Security Team to mitigate cybersecurity risks
- Demonstrate as a business partner to ensure business and technology decisions to support business goals and objectives
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 15+ years of experience working in IT / Data Center operations, supervising technology teams, and overseeing information technology projects
- Good understanding of Windows, Linux and Mac Operating systems, security, network and systems administration, Microsoft Active Directory, SIEM, EDR, databases and data storage systems
- Expert knowledge of ISO27001, GDPR, CCPA, CUI, ITAR, EAR, OFAC, FISMA, HIPAA, PCI
- Good understanding of NextGen firewalls, Zero Trust, Least Privilege, OS Hardening
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with teams across the entire organization
- Excellent leadership qualities
- Knowledge with corporate, industry and professional standards, policies, regulations, compliance and codes of conduct associated with the role
- Strong knowledge of project management principles
Salary Range
$200,000 - $235,000
The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
