As Sr. Director of Retail Operations Excellence you will own the operational strategies, processes, and tools that enable our teams to deliver premium consumer experiences at scale, across all retail formats around the country. To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate your strategic planning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills alongside your ability to engage key stakeholders and bring people along on the journey. You will partner with cross-functional partners on the both global and N. America teams to deliver services back to the organization in alignment with key goals and initiatives.

You will lead, coach, drive and inspire a team of individuals who are responsible for ensuring we excel in running our organization as an effective business by leading initiatives that drive key results through sales operational excellence and developing best in class efficiencies.

These initiatives range in content, complexity, and scope – from process optimization using technical and non-technical solutions, to project management, to executing strategic/business planning and financial activities and deliverables, to providing input on technology and operational functionality roadmaps for driving efficiencies and improving quality and service.

You will work with your key stakeholders to identify, plan, and report relevant KPIs to enable data-driven business decisions; i.e. Marketing, Design, Merchandising, Technology, Service, Finance, HR, Field, Account and Strategy teams at both Global and North American levels to bring programs and services to life in our stores that elevate the Consumer Experience while improving sales team productivity.

You should exhibit a proven ability to convey complex ideas in simple, effective ways that influence, inform and educate audiences at all levels in the organization. You should be very comfortable leading and influencing across the matrix, with global and local-based teams. You'll advocate and pursue an approach for the work that reflects a total cross-functional approach rather than a narrow functional or silo approach. This will include being a fierce advocate for the team, driving repeatability, stability, and intuitiveness into everything we do, so that they can focus on serving consumers and not inefficient tools/processes.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Oversee end to end operations, supply chain, systems and communication functions that support the Retail organization
  • Work with central enabling functions to receive/ideate/develop systems, tools, processes, templates to drive best practices
  • Drive integration of new initiatives into all operational aspects
  • Drive creation of process excellence and accountability throughout launch execution process for improved metrics and transparency
  • Facilitate cross-functional, end-to-end alignment for key processes and product checkpoints
  • Support retail strategies by building best in class operational frameworks that provide unique solutions that exceed the executional expectations, ultimately bringing the vision to life while having the necessary rigor in terms of budget, resource and legal parameters
  • Partner with appropriate internal stakeholders to ensure the operational frameworks receive the appropriate oversight and sign-off in advance of going live; continue to measure and report performance to ensure ongoing compliance and use-case alignment
  • Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with key vendors and other key stakeholders
  • Drive operational readiness through planning, cross-functional coordination, and partnership
