Application Manager, Finance & Business Planning

The mission of our team is to reimagine productivity and enable FBP (Finance & Business Planning) to plan, prioritize, execute and focus on strategic work.

As a valued member of this team, you'll be a critical liaison to FBP focused on all aspects of forecasting, budgeting and financial reporting with Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) (Hyperion on-premise + Cloud) suite of products. The team also enables & supports Accounting and Tax Ops teams who leverage Oracle EPM for critical period close activities, Tax calculations, Transfer Pricing and other statutory & regulatory compliance.Application Manager, Finance & Business Planning Responsibilities

• Subject matter expert with deep domain knowledge of Finance (FP&A) & Accounting business processes.
• Solution ownership from concept, design, configuration, implementation and system health for a mix of Oracle EPM Cloud products (Planning, EDM, Narrative Reporting, Data Management etc.) as well as on-prem Oracle Hyperion products (Hyperion Planning, Essbase, FDMEE, DRM and Financial Reports).
• Define strategy, prioritize effectively and manage FBP Products roadmap aligned with Finance and company objectives.
• Lead and manage all aspects of end-to-end implementations - stakeholder communication, timeline planning, functional/technical requirements, solution design/architecture/build, testing and delivery.
• Define, measure and track relevant product & related business goals and success metrics to continually drive value and uphold high quality solutions.
• Build and foster strong partnerships and collaborate with many cross functional teams for roadmaps, prioritization, product delivery, alignment and cross business process initiatives.
• Have a passion for automation, reimagine productivity with creative, scalable and efficient solutions and embody data driven decision making to understand and solve problems.
• Work with a team of contingent workers to build and deliver best in class solutions.
• Conduct user training and knowledge sharing sessions to improve system adoption, user experience & satisfaction.
• Should be able to negotiate scope, influence solution options and outcomes and engage with business stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications

• BS or BA degree in Finance, Business, Technology, or equivalent degree.
• 8+ years functional experience supporting FP&A organizations in areas of financial planning (budgeting, forecasting, LRP), reporting and consolidations.
• 5+ years experience in designing and building solutions on Oracle EPM Cloud/Hyperion on-premise for financial & operational planning use cases, 2+ years experience of which should be using Oracle EPM Cloud suite of products (EPBCS, PBCS, DM, OAC & EDM etc.).
• Hands-on development experience with Oracle EPM suite of products (on-premise + Cloud) for application build, scripting (business rules, MDX, groovy, EPM Automate), master data management and reporting (dashboards, management reports, narrative reporting).
• Experience with non-Oracle management reporting and analytical data solutions such as InsightSoftware(CXO), Tableau to improve insights & decision making.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL and MySQL databases and querying languages.
• Process automation experience with products such as IBM Cognos Command Center, OneCloud or others.
• Knowledge of ERP and GL concepts (Oracle Fusion or EBS R12) and experience dealing with upstream systems especially during close.
• Experience with API based integrations of Oracle EPM, Fusion with other enterprise software solutions.
• Experience building and scaling solutions for companies in consumer hardware, Data Center, Ads, Payments, Crypto Currency and/or similar emerging business models.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Effective communication skills to gather business requirements and articulate solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with developing or supporting other EPM products such as Anaplan and OneStream is a huge plus.
• Oracle EPM certifications (on-premise or Cloud).
• Experience managing a team of contingent workers.
• RPA knowledge (UiPath, Automation Anywhere).
• Product Management experience working with engineering teams to prototype, design and build products on proprietary tech stack.
• Knowledge of ML/AI solutions for predictive planning and analysis.
