Senior Software Developer

Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals. 

 

This resource is responsible for assisting our customers with the design and deployment of their SAP Ariba and iValua solutions. As functional experts, they will help lead the customer in the build, testing and deployment of their software solution and associated business processes.

Day to Day Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead functional scope definition and design for Ariba Sourcing solution and iValua.
• Use knowledge of customer’s business and industry to assess findings and shape solutions.
• Influence the opinions and decisions of clients using understanding of client’s organizational processes and structure.
• Help solve customer problems and anticipate their needs.
• Identify client issues and approaches for determining potential solutions.
• Dedicate to delivering exceptional results.
• Ensure client success within the realm and scope of the Statement of Work (SOW).
• Guide customers through the design process to make decisions with full visibility into Ariba Best Practices.
• Author and update Functional and Technical design documents.
• Plan and manage project tasks and resources to ensure deliverables are on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
• Often lead some portion of the customer deployment.
• Share expertise through training and communications with customers ensuring knowledge transfer and the desired level of self-sufficiency is achieved.

 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree and 8 years of experience or a Master's degree and 6 years of experience or a High School Diploma and 12 years of experience. 
• Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder (No Sponsorship)
• Advanced troubleshooting experience.
• Hands-on experience collaborating with third-party vendors.
• Proficiency in creating, managing, and administrating contract templates in SAP Ariba.
• Expertise in integrating external systems using tools such as CIG Cloud Integration
• Gateway, SAP Ariba web services, REST, XML, XSLT, and SOAP.
• Thorough comprehension of supplier master data, contracts, and sourcing projects.
• Effective management of supplier relationships using SAP Ariba or Ivalua tools.
• Comprehensive understanding of the Ivalua platform, including modules like Sourcing and Contracts.
• Experience integrating Ivalua with ERP, CRM, and other systems through APIs, web services, or middleware/SOA.
• Competence in data migration, mapping, and cleansing within the framework of Ivalua.
• Familiarity with scripting languages like JavaScript and Python, and automation tools for optimizing Ivalua functionalities and processes.
• Proficient in generating and analyzing reports to facilitate decision-making.

Target Salary Range

$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
