About Our Team:
The Digital Engineering space is home to deeply talented colleagues that work to design, build and test customer products and platforms end-to-end. They not only scale and mature solutions to acquire and grow our customer base, but they also support platforms and frameworks, champion engineering excellence and enhance the customer digital experience around partnerships, servicing, lending, marketing rewards, and offers and payments.
The Digital Product Manager is a position within the Customer Experience and Platform Health (CX&PH) domain. CX & PH is organized around Domains that are aligned to our customer missions. The Customer Experience and Platform Health domain interfaces with all other domains (Acquisition & Activation, Customer Engagement & Growth, Payments & Lending, Wealth Management, Operations & Service, etc.) in maintaining our digital channels – we own the foundation that other domains build upon. Our mission is to create an environment where work can happen in a distributed manner while feeling like a single, unified customer experience, across our core digital channels including Web (Citi.com pre- and post-login) and Mobile (iOS & Android). Our team drives the strategy across these channels and has overall responsibility for their success.
Responsibilities:
Owns the working backwards documents for feature releases i.e. Product release doc, Press Release, FAQs
Makes use of research, user studies, metrics and competitive analysis to understand the customer and business needs for a platform product
Compares features for competitive review to inform prioritization within a product release
Identifies innovations or performs “test and learn” experiments to create features that add more business and customer value for a platform product
Participates with the business in customer research to inform priorities for platform product backlog.
Contributes near-term input (quarterly) for the platform product portfolio and roadmap
Facilitates trade-off decisions on platform product features
Exhibits expertise within platform feature area and coordinates with interdependent teams.
Has good awareness of platform feature health and delivers regular progress reports to stakeholders
Identifies and communicates opportunities for improvement with peers and stakeholders
Helps define business, customer and platform use cases and requirements
Ensures features meet backlog entrance criteria
Creates user stories and system interaction diagrams for platform feature solution
Hosts user story grooming sessions
Informs the design of the user experience i.e. wireframes and mock-ups
Ensures appropriate backlog depth for continuous development
