Assembler-Kit Packing-2nd Shift

Do you have a passion for assembling metal products? We’re hiring an Assembler- Kit Packing for our company’s manufacturing plant in Raymond, Mississippi. If you possess:

• The ability to assemble products by fastening parts together using bolts, screws, rivets, or other fasteners.
• The ability to operate hand tools or portable power tools to assist in the assembly operation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Hunter is hiring for 2nd shift (3:30 PM – 12:00 AM). Shift premium of $0.50 per hour.

The Assembler assembles metal products, partially or completely, working at a bench or on the shop floor.

What you will do:

• Assemble products by fastening parts together using bolts, screws, rivets, or other fasteners.
• Operate hand tools or portable power tools to assist in the assembly operation.
• Position parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled and/or following blueprints.
• Remove small quantities of metal with hand files and scrapers to produce close fit between parts.
• Frequent standing, lifting, and moving materials up to 50 lbs.
• Observes and follows all safety rules.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Additional Qualifications Include:

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be willing and able to work overtime as an extension to a normal workday or on weekends, as scheduled.
