Job Description

As a Security Guard Retail Unarmed Patrol Driver in Anaheim Hills, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and promoting a welcoming atmosphere at a retail or mall location. This is a driving post, where you will conduct routine patrols throughout the property, remain highly visible, and interact with visitors and tenants to provide outstanding customer service. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and integrity, while making a positive impact through your presence and communication skills.

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques when necessary.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
• Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or maintenance issues according to site protocols.
• Assist with access control and visitor management as required by site-specific procedures.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal management and local law enforcement as needed to address security-related matters at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
