Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate provider, specializing in substance use treatment. The ideal candidate will be a licensed medical provider with a strong background in addiction medicine and psychiatric care, capable of providing clinical oversight and leadership for withdrawal management and residential treatment programs. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with a dedicated interdisciplinary team and work closely with the medical director overseeing the entire organization to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care for individuals with substance use disorders.
Minimum Qualifications:
Current licensure with the ability to practice in Oregon
*Board certification in Addiction Medicine or Psychiatry preferred.

Requirements
Clinical Oversight and Leadership:
- Provide clinical oversight and leadership for withdrawal management and residential treatment programs, ensuring adherence to evidence-based practice guidelines and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement policies, protocols, and treatment plans that promote optimal patient outcomes and safety.
Medical Assessment and Diagnosis:
- Conduct comprehensive medical assessments of patients entering withdrawal management and residential treatment programs, including physical health, psychiatric status, and substance use history.
- Formulate differential diagnoses and develop individualized treatment plans, integrating medical, psychiatric, and substance use interventions.
Medication Management and Prescribing:
- Prescribe and manage medications to support withdrawal management and address co-occurring medical and psychiatric conditions.
- Monitor patients' response to medications, adjust dosages as needed, and provide education on medication adherence and potential side effects.
Clinical Consultation and Collaboration:
- Provide clinical consultation and expertise to interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, therapists, and social workers.
- Collaborate with the medical director overseeing the entire organization to ensure alignment of clinical practices and integration of care across all levels of treatment.
Quality Improvement and Program Development:
- Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of withdrawal management and residential treatment programs.
- Participate in program development activities to expand and enhance services, incorporating innovative approaches and evidence-based practices.
Staff Education and Training:
- Provide education and training to staff members on best practices in addiction medicine, psychiatric care, and substance use treatment.
