The Position
As a Project Director at Novo Nordisk, you will have the opportunity to:

 

 

  • Lead the freeze-drying track in the PS API (Product Supply, Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients) major expansion project “M3”, which is Novo Nordisk’s largest investment in production capacity to date.
  • Be responsible for the execution of the project according to approved milestone plans and within budget.
  • Deliver a new strategic, state-of-the-art multi-product freeze-drying facility.
  • Head a project organization of up to 40 colleagues and work with external contractors on engineering, construction, and automation.

 

You will communicate and negotiate agreements with stakeholders both inside and outside the company, including commercial contracts, payments, and deliveries from national and international vendors. 

 

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

 

 

  • Proven experience in project management, specifically in leading large-scale projects, in compliance with quality management systems
  • Proven leadership skills with an empowering and collaborative style, and the ability to manage a diverse team
  • Experience with engineering systems in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Academic background in engineering (chemical, mechanical, or civil) or science. Experienced candidates with technical education can also be considered.
  • Fluency in English.

The Project Director will be part of Novo Nordisk Kalundborg, where approximately 4,000 employees produce half of the world’s insulin and a number of biopharmaceutical products.
