Northrop Grumman Defense Services sector is currently seeking a Systems Administrator 2 to join our growing team in Warner Robins, Georgia. In this position, the selected candidate will take an active role in protecting the men and women that fly our nation’s aircraft in harm’s way.

Responsibilities:
- Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems within test stations
- Interacts with users and evaluates system performance and trends
- Deploys, manages, maintains, and supports Microsoft Windows in test stations
- Assist users with debugging and resolving identified issues within their accounts
- Responds to monitored alerts to quickly identify trouble source and implement resolution
- Assists with implementation of automated processes or functions to improve daily operations as directed
- Assists with implementation of technical security technology and IT projects as directed
- Collaborates in authoring system documentation and procedures
- Installs, troubleshoots, updates / patches, and maintains environments, lab assets, & IT infrastructure
- Sustains operational uptime on Windows systems and provides daily support for hardware and software issues, data recovery, system upgrades, software upgrades, and configuration issues
- Implements Windows upgrades and Sustainment of Windows infrastructure (Windows 11, Windows 10, Windows Server 2016/2019/2022) on multiple networks to include group policy management, account creation, software troubleshooting, and active directory administration
- Performs security hardening on systems using DoD STIGs and other best practice security guidelines

Basic Qualifications:
Qualified candidate must have one of the following:
- A high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 6 years of IT experience

-An Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years of IT experience
- A Bachelor of Science degree with a minimum of 2 years of IT experience
- A Master of Science degree with a minimum of 0-1 year of IT experience
- Must have or be able to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) Secret Security Clearance
- Must have a valid CompTIA Security+ certification
- Must be able to work on-site in Warner Robins, Georgia

Preferred Qualifications:
-Bachelor of Science Degree with 2 years related experience

-Demonstrated success in performing in a fast-paced depot/sustainment environment
- Experience in managing classified and controlled information of data systems and test equipment
- Demonstrated ability to work/maintain electro-optical test equipment and perform acceptance test procedures
- Experience in software development/integration with LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, and Test Stand
- Demonstrated ability to understand/troubleshoot communications (1553, RS232, RS422, RS485) and basic test equipment
- Experience in configuring & managing Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
- Experience in configuring, managing virtual infrastructure & technologies
