About the role
Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage all warehouse activities involving storage, use and distribution of maintained materials.
- Ensure environmental, health, safety and security practices are followed at all times.
- Evaluate storage requirements for materials in the warehouse, and ensure they are stored properly.
- Manage material receiving, issuing and warehouse processes associated with the storage and management of warehouse materials.
- Ensure all materials received or issued have appropriate documentation and are processed accordingly.
- Conduct SAP inventory transactions for material movements and for reporting accurate inventory.
- Manage building and yard maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, consumable and facility levels and ensure that the warehouse is well-stocked with necessary supplies.
- Contribute to the improvement of warehouse and inventory management procedures.
- Collaborate with MRO vendors to ensure that all necessary supplies are purchased in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Analyze data related to warehouse operations, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
- Work with field disciplines to forecast demand for inventory and establish appropriate replenishment workflows to ensure demand is met.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that warehouse operations are aligned with needs of the business.
- Conduct periodic audits of inventory to ensure accuracy, update systems and identify discrepancies.
- Collaborate with team members and clients on warehouse activities and processes training.
Required Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in inventory management or a related field, preferably in Oil & Gas warehouse environment.
- Hands-on experience with SAP.
- Strong analytical skills and experience working with data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
- Understanding of safety regulations related to warehouse operations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with teams across departments.
- Familiarity with inventory management software and other warehouse management tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid Driver’s License and US work authorization.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Exposure to E&P operations and materials used in these operations (production, drilling and completions).
- Ability to safely operated powered materials handling equipment.
- Skilled in MS Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc).
- Must be well organized, decisive and be able to function effectively with little supervision.
