You will become a member of our Assurance Offerings’ Accounting and Reporting Advisory team, which focuses on assisting companies in handling technical accounting analysis and issues concerning Corporate Accounting, M&A Accounting Services, and Capital Markets Transactions. As a team member, this will allow you to make a positive difference to your clients and get “behind the scenes” of some of Denmark’s most interesting companies. Job Description

As part of our team, you will lead and participate in client projects using your specialised accounting knowledge and the Deloitte Toolkit. We are looking for candidates on a manager level who are capable of leading projects with up to five team members, being responsible for scoping projects in collaboration with clients and project partners, as well as supporting and advising clients’ corporate accounting and reporting teams in:

• Specialised accounting advice in relation to changes in clients’ businesses.
• IFRS and US GAAP conversion as to, for example, transactions or IPO.
• Treasury accounting, including hedge accounting.
• IFRS outsourcing/co-sourcing.
• Transaction accounting and support to our Transaction Services team in Financial Advisory.
• Post-acquisition accounting support.
• IPO services, such as assessing IPO readiness at your clients and advising in the process of IPO execution.
• Comfort letters for prospectuses (share issuing and bond programmes).

Qualifications

We believe the following qualifications will prove a good foundation for your success in the role:

• You have a professional curiosity about accounting and advisory and an interest in helping finance functions bring their reporting towards leading practice, and a desire to explore the area further.
• You are a positive, self-reliant teammate who takes ownership of tasks and does not shy away from new challenges.
• You have at least six years’ experience from a relevant job within finance, such as auditor, senior accountant, senior controller, or consultant within the field of Audit & Assurance.
• You have a relevant graduate or master’s degree in finance, accounting, or auditing.

Furthermore, it could be an advantage if you have experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Project management, change management, and stakeholder management.
• Experience working in external audits.
• Experience working with IFRS.
• Experience working with IPO assistance.
