Maintenance Shift Lead

Job Summary

The Maintenance Shift Lead will supervise and support a team of janitorial staff, ensuring that all assigned cleaning tasks are completed effectively, efficiently, and on schedule. This role is critical to maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and professionalism that our customers have come to expect. The ideal candidate will be a natural leader with a strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for creating clean and welcoming spaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of maintenance staff during assigned shifts.
• Ensure all cleaning schedules are followed, and tasks are completed to quality standards, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, sanitizing, and trash removal.
• Conduct inspections of facilities to ensure compliance with company standards and safety regulations.
• Safely operate company vehicles and trucks, maintaining an acceptable and clean driving record that meets specific company policy.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
• Complete work orders and tasks assigned in Parking Tasker.
• Maintain cleanliness of all facilities managed and troubleshoot equipment in field when necessary.
• Some citation enforcement is necessary. Training is available.

Schedule

The Maintenance Shift Lead position will be Tuesday-Friday 3PM- 11:30PM.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a janitorial or custodial role, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory position.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment, supplies, and safety procedures.
• Physical capability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
• Must be okay with being outdoors for a better portion of the shift.
