Summary:  Under supervision, acquires and analyzes data relevant to raw materials and golf balls. Performs all job-related skills at the basic competency level and some at the intermediate competency level.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate data with various chemical and/or mechanical analysis instruments given instruction on the appropriate methods and techniques.
  • Enters appropriate data into QAS. Collaborate to analyze and review test data for accuracy. Collaborates to update How To documentation as needed. Reports results to supervisor.
  • Engages in understanding raw material/product testing, calibrations, and method development.
  • Manages consumable stockpiles to ensure readiness. Coordinates and distributes consumables as needed. 
  • Supports raw material qualifications under supervisor direction.
  • Performs related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-3 year’s experience with golf ball raw materials and product testing and/or basic analytical techniques. May display basic competencies in raw material testing/product testing apparatus, and/or other complex equipment. Must possess basic mechanical competency.
