Corporate Accounting Team Lead

Your role & responsibilities:

 

• Taking part in the audit and review of reporting data and early warning processes.
• Responsible for sub-areas of consolidation (e.g. equity evaluation and goodwill amortization), preparation of cash flow statement, consolidated financial statements
• Preparing analysis to the consolidated financial statements and presentations for the Board and investors
• Leading 4 Corporate Accounting Specialists’ team
• Contact person for group accounting questions  and preparation of the group reporting package, questions related to first /end consolidations, mergers and carve outs of  selected countries of the MAHLE Group
• Cooperation with group auditors
• Preparing instructions, training documents and conduct trainings for MAHLE employees
• Supporting the implementation of our new reporting and consolidation system (BCS/4)

 

Your skills & strengths:

 

• Around 5 years of experience in the area of accounting, controlling, finance or in an audit company
• Strong general ledger accounting understanding and expertise (IFRS, local GAAP) for single-entity financial statements or consolidated financial statements
• Higher education in the area of finance, accounting, audit or similar
• Leadership skills
• Experience in using SAP
• Good English language skills (B2)
• Very good analytical skills
• Strategic thinking
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
