This role reports to the Sr. Manager, Compensation. This is a 16-week internship beginning in May 2024.
What you will do:
- Assist with various compensation projects related to our Retail business unit such as the preparation of communication material, program documentation
- Support the Retail compensation team with compensation survey submissions and analysis
- Complete data analysis in the context of salary and pay equity reviews
- Other duties as assigned
What you will learn:
- Experience as part of the Centre of Excellence team in an HR function of a large, complex, and global organization
- Exposure to both Canadian and US employee compensation programs including their key design principles and applicable regulations
- Opportunity to develop written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working in a remote office environment and the use of Microsoft Office Suite of programs, particularly MS Excel
What you will bring:
- Currently completing third year in a degree program, preferably Business
- Preference for a person pursuing an HR or Finance career
- Excellent Microsoft Suite knowledge including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Experience in managing multiple priorities and working in a team environment is an asset
Compensation
Hourly Rate is dependent on years of completed post-secondary education: $18.56-$26.75 per hour
This hourly rate is for Loveland, CO and may vary depending on location.
