ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Database Administrator to join our team in Ft. Meade, MD. 

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Responsible for designing and creating SQL tables, unstructured data systems, and data transmission interfaces for the interconnecting system associated with the prototype.  

  • Ensure security measures, manage user access, backups, and implement instance tuning and security controls to safeguard the data management system(s).  

  • Collaborates closely with software development teams to support their needs.  

  • Provide planning and guidance to the DB Admin Team, reviewing work products and results to ensure quality and consistency. 

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field 

  • DoD 8570.01-m IAT Level II Certification within 6 months of commencing work on the Task Order 

  • 5 years of experience in position-relevant tasks. 

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Master's degree in computer science or related field.  

  • Vendor tool certifications appropriate to TDL requirements (e.g., Oracle and Mongo). 

Clearance Requirements: 

  • Must have a current/active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and maintain a Polygraph.   

Physical Requirements: 

  • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time 

  • Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel 

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer
