Security Specialist - Full-Time Overnight

The International Mission Board, a nonprofit religious organization is hiring for a Full-Time Overnight Security Specialist to work on our campus in Rockville, VA!

Hours: Sunday - Thursday 9PM - 5AM
Rate: Competitive rate of pay + shift differentials
Location: Rockville, VA

Responsibilities:

• Maintains safety and security for campus by providing surveillance of persons and property

• Checks IDs and issues appropriate badges as needed when visitors arrive at the gate

• Handles all security situations as they arise and initiates appropriate actions

• Monitors equipment such as fire alarm panels, surveillance system monitors and refrigeration systems

• Meets, greets, and assists guests and staff on campus

Requirements:

• High school diploma

• Must have DCJS Unarmed Security registration or be willing to obtain it within the first few months of hire

• 2 years preferred in the security field

• CPR, AED and First AID certified preferred

• Professional demeanor
