You will take part in meaningful work and real-life projects that will help you grow both professionally and personally throughout the program.
We are seeking a highly motivated intern to perform multiple EHS tasks related to Industrial Hygiene, waste management and environmental monitoring.
Location: West Chester, PA 19380
Length: 12 weeks (May 18, 2026 – August 7, 2026)
Schedule: You must be available to work a 40-hour work week (onsite) for 12 weeks

How you’ll spend your day
Tasks & responsibilities
- During the 12 week program, you will gain in-depth insight into the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) department.
- Supported by a mentor and experienced colleagues, you will be directly involved in our daily business and be assigned tasks within diverse projects.
- Develop and conduct interactive EHS trainings.
- Participate in incident investigations and assist in development of corrective and preventative action plans.
- Perform EHS based risk assessments using job hazard assessments (JHAs) or process hazard assessments (PHAs).
- Conduct audits of EHS programs to ensure compliance to corporate and regulatory standards (Confined Space, Machine Guarding, Waste Disposal, Emergency Preparedness, Hazard Communication etc.).
- Provide guidance to employees on the proper use and maintenance of safety-related equipment
- Assist in the maintenance of chemical inventories and safety data sheet database in laboratory, production, and warehouse areas.
- Work with the EHS team to promote a positive safety culture.
Your experience and qualifications
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in Bachelor’s degree program of study with a concentration Environmental and Occupational Health Studies preferred.
- Fundamental understanding and experience in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
