Complementing its performance activities, Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Institute creates extensive music education and social impact programs that annually serve more than 800,000 people worldwide, playing a central role in fulfilling Carnegie Hall's commitment to making great music accessible to as many people as possible.
Carnegie Hall's Weill Music Institute seeks an Intern, Social Impact Programs. The Intern contributes to the successful implementation of all Social Impact Programs, including Future Music Project, The B-Side, and Musical Connections. Reporting to the Director of Social Impact Programs, the Intern provides administrative assistance and staffing support to the Social Impact team.
Key Responsibilities
Program & Event Support
Provide on-site support for workshops, field trips and special events, including:
Collecting attendance
Distributing materials
Setting up and breaking down event spaces
Data & Content Coordination
Assist in collecting, organizing, archiving program data such as:
Workshop recordings and materials
Participant testimonials and surveys
Attendance records
Communications & Outreach
Share program opportunities with community partners, teaching artists, participants and other stakeholders.
Support the management of general program email inboxes and respond to inquiries as directed.
Administrative Support
Conduct online research to advance program development and support strategic planning.
Schedule and participate in meetings with Carnegie Hall staff and community partners.
Provide general administrative support including calendar management and meeting coordinator.
Assist with special projects as assigned.

Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to speak and understand Spanish is a plus
Computer skills –Microsoft Office, Outlook
