In this role, you have the opportunity to

Manage the End-to-End of Project Procurement to support product development from the initial start until the introduction to the Market.

You are responsible for:

  • Managing site procurement activities and acts on behalf of Procurement organization (Procurement Project Management and Commodity Management) for project or supplier related activities. Drive site cost reduction projects with cross functions together.
  • Ensures suppliers understand project requirements and deliver materials to project needs, communicates specifications and changes.
  • Implements change by incorporating global Philips Procurement programs and initiatives into site related project planning, execution and communication
  • Executes using the standardized processes, methodologies and tools to drive reliable and efficient program execution
  • Takes prompt and effective actions (incl. escalation) to mitigate Procurement and/or Supplier related issues and secure Supply
  • Organizes all site related Supplier activities and communication according to the Supplier strategy and guidance provided by Global Supplier Account Managers
  • Identifies site-related process gaps against global process standards and initiates mitigation plans together with global Business Process owners/Business Process experts
  • Manages on time deliveries of parts during NPI & LCM projects (samples, prototypes, ramp up... note: project team responsible for order requisition via SRM, PO placement by Ops buyer or SSC)
  • Anticipates stakeholders information needs and defines respective local communication plans together with global topic owners
  • Actively tracks project results and updates relates Funnel measures.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor Degree with 5 – 8 years of procurement experience.
  • Experience in project procurement.
  • Knowledge on Procurement process such as supply management, supply chain, SAP system, project management, etc.
  • Knowledge on the commodity such as Plastic Injection Molding, Metal forming & stamping, Packaging.
