The Mental Health Worker is a member of a multidisciplinary team. The Mental Health Worker serves as co-team leader and is responsible for providing team and individually delivered therapy and case management to children and their families in the home and/or community. This position is required to work hours that coincide with client schedules, including day, evening, and/or weekend hours.We are seeking Mental Health Workers for our Family Based Programs. We promote teamwork, offer supervision towards licensure, provide training through the Philadelphia Child and Family Therapy Training Center toward the Eco-systemic Structural Family Therapy Model certification, and a stay bonus of $1,000 applied through the first 6 months of employment.
Pay Rate: $20.00
Bonus: Eligible for $1000 stay bonus received in 3 increments:
- Bonus is for full time employees and paid out according to training schedule.
- $250.00 After orientation which includes shadowing
- $250.00 After 90-Day Probation
- $500.00 After 6 Months of employment
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Nursing, Rehabilitation, Theology, Anthropology, or any bachelor’s degree in Human Services.
Work Experience:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a CASSP (Children & Adolescent Social Service Program) System Program.
Required Licenses/Certification:
Valid State Driver's License
Essential Physical and Sensory Requirements-With or without the aid of mechanical devices
Light:
- Regularly required to lift 10 lbs.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 15 lbs.
- Must be able to pull minimum of 10 lbs.
- Must be able to squat, kneel, crawl, crouch, climb, and stoop.
- Must be able to regularly use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- Required to regularly stand and walk.
- Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in CPR from the floor level requiring to work on hands, knees, bending, standing, and lifting.
- Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision.
Meeting Basic Work Expectations
- Complies with basic job requirements and tasks; arrives at work on time as scheduled; proactively informs others when he/she encounters problems that may limit his/her ability to meet expectations.
Provide team (60%) and individually (40%) delivered therapy to children/adolescents and their families in the home and/or the community.
Works collaboratively with lead therapist to assure all client and family treatment needs are met.
Utilize safe Proact techniques as deemed appropriate related to de escalation
Document treatment data/results that are clinically relevant on progress notes and submit in a timely manner (within 24 hours of each encounter).
Complete client intake paperwork per company/program guidelines and regulations
