Heavy Truck Wash Technician

Description

The Heavy Truck Wash Technician is responsible for skillfully cleaning the company owned units using a variety of chemicals as well as a power washing machine. Excellent at managing your time, you efficiently and thoroughly clean our units so that they are in the best possible condition for our drivers. You can handle almost any weather condition and enjoy spending your time outside. Safety is your highest priority while using cleaning products.

• Power Wash operation, cleaning redi-mix trucks and tractors.

Requirements

• Self-motivated - ambitiously aims to achieve power washing tasks and cleaning objectives
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving history. (Note: All candidates will be screened through our insurance company before a job offer is made).
• Must be able to stand on your feet for 8 hours or more.
• Must be able to work a 5-day workweek from 7:00am to 5:00pm. This is a 40 hour a week position.
• Must have legible handwriting.
• Must be able to communicate to supervision in a timely fashion if problems or questions should arise.
• Must be willing to follow all safety procedures and work safely.
• Must be able to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment as part of a team. Must be able to pass a background check including employment history, SSN Verification, criminal history, etc.
• Must be able to pass a drug test and DOT Physical.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. from floor to waist height.
• Ability to carry minimum of 50 lbs. over a 5-foot span.
• Ability to push/pull a minimum of 50 lbs. across a 10-foot span.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 20 lbs. from waist to shoulder.
• Use their hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to bend or twist body without restriction.
• Ability to kneel, stoop, crouch, or crawl.
• Ability to work in extreme weather, including but not limited to high heat, low temperature, and high sun environments.
