  • Channel your inner detective to uncover resident and family concerns. Then, put on your problem-solving cape to initiate corrective action or report to the appropriate personnel.
  • Become the Resident Care Conference rockstar! Attend meetings with flair and keep those Care Plans so accurate and relevant, they'll be the envy of the nursing world.
  • Transform into a medication maestro! Prepare, administer, and document medications with the precision of a Swiss watch. Keep the med supply flowing like a well-oiled machine.
  • Embrace your inner Sherlock Holmes! Recognize signs and symptoms, then use your stellar judgment to select the perfect treatment or procedure.
  • Be the captain of the ship! Guide your crew of ancillary personnel with wisdom and wit. When needed, initiate corrective action with the finesse of a seasoned leader.
  • Flex those documentation muscles! Record patient care issues with the eloquence of a bestselling author and report them faster than you can say "stat!"

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications & Experience

  • Colorado Registered Nursing License, in good standing.  
  • Advanced training in geriatrics preferred.
  • 1-year experience in a long-term care facility preferred.
  • 1-year experience in a supervisory capacity preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word  and Outlook
  • Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak the English language

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements

  • Moderate physical activity required by handling objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently.
  • Possible exposure to chemicals, blood borne pathogens and other infectious diseases.
  • Sits, stands, bends and moves intermittently during working hours.
  • Is subject to frequent interruptions.
  • Interacts with residents, family members, visitors frequently.
