Job Description
You are a business partner to the organization participating actively with ideas to enhance the customer experience.
You are responsible for payroll accounting and for general payroll administration regarding offices staff.
You ensure all employees are paid in accordance to local laws and the Company established processing guidelines.

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
PERSONAL ADMINISTRATION
- Responsible for payroll accounting and for general payroll administration regarding offices staff.
- Manage Offices Staff Personal Administration.
- Ensure a good welcoming for all new employees coming from abroad: On boarding process & immigration services management.
- Global Mobility management.
- Implement legislative updating in order to ensure function accuracy and provide evidences to support the internal legal department.
- Manage Rewards Operations: Flex Salary and Health Insurance.
- Responsible of the Incentive Program Administration (HIP).
- Assists in projects directed by the Payroll Manager.
SELLING
- Keep up to date with store needs and shows strong commitment to their satisfaction
- Relate cost to added value to own work and the whole organization
- Encourage organizational improvements on Global and Local level
- Show interest in the long- term business results of the company
- Keep up-to-date with competitors and market trends in the retail industry
PAYROLL ACCOUNTING
- Reviews all new hires into payroll system and/or to ensure accuracy and processes any necessary correction.
- Calculation and processing of termination payments.
- Maintains master data and employee files (electronic or paper).
- Processing salary changes (increases/decreases), additional earnings and calculation of back pay (when applicable).
- Responsible for calculating deductions, such as withheld tax and insurance.
- Payroll reporting to meet internal and statutory obligations.
- Ensures employees’ sick is accurate.
- Ensures employees’ vacation time is accurate in termination payments.
- Works directly with Accounting Department regarding salary payments, bank reconciliation.
- Ensure all month end tasks such as statutory payments and reporting is performed timeously.
COMMUNICATION
- Provides support to the stores regarding payroll matters.
- Contact for all external customers (authorities, auditors) for all issues concerning payroll, fiscal and social insurance matters.
- Communicate operational changes to employee that will affect salaries.
- Communicate changes in benefits, payroll and administration processes to stores and provide training if necessary.

In order to be successful in the role we believe you have:
- Bachelor's degree in Law or Master's in Human Resource Management, Management, Accountability or similar.
- No less than 5 years of experience in similar functions.
- Previous IT Consultor experience in Payroll Software solutions will be a plus.
- Labor Law solid knowledge.
- Fluent in Spanish and English (both written and spoken).
- Proactivity.
- Teamplayer.
Additional Information
This is a Permanent position based in Barcelona, Spain. Starting date as soon as possible.
