The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) team is seeking a Telemetry Network Technologist to join the flight test telemetry organization in Berkeley, MO.
This Technician role supports the flight test organization by designing, maintaining, modernizing, troubleshooting, repairing/fabricating, and Remove/Replacing equipment to keep testing interruptions to a minimum. The selected technologist will also play a key role during testing to support flight test telemetry and relay. The job includes working in the telemetry ground labs in St. Louis and Mascoutah. The successful candidate will need to be self-motivated when working in a dynamic team environment.
BT&E is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate, Experienced and Senior level Telemetry Network Technologists.
Position Responsibilities Include:
- Design networks, systems, materials, components, software and methodologies to meet customer telemetry requirements
- Participate in test design and performs routine procurement, fabrication and assembly of telemetry systems
- Maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot telemetry equipment to include network infrastructure, tracking antennas, and rack-mounted equipment
- Facilitate systems integration, fabrication and modification; supports system pre-test, integration, checkout, and flight test activities
- Work under general supervision
- Assist the team in ensuring that the telemetry equipment is functional and properly configured for the scheduled test activities
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 1+ years of experience with radio frequency (RF), modems, wireless, and advanced communications systems
- 1+ years of experience with troubleshooting and repairing computing system hardware and software
- 1+ years of experience with the integration of computing hardware and software components into functioning computing systems
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 3 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
- Experience with tracking antennas
- Experience with aircraft systems
- Previous flight test experience

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range for associate level: $85,000 – $115,000
Summary pay range for experienced level: $105,400– $142,600
Summary pay range for senior level: $127,500 - $172,500
