The Team: The Global Credit Ratings team is dedicated to delivering the highest quality credit ratings and opinions while driving cross-functional partnership, operational simplification, and standardization. We value collaboration and innovative problem-solving, which enables us to build productive partnerships across the organization.

Responsibilities and Impact:

  • Lead and manage project execution with a focus on speed and efficiency for key initiatives in Global Credit Ratings.

  • Focus areas include Strategic Capacity and integrating AI capabilities within Practices.

  • Collaborate in defining and planning projects alongside leaders and teams, including cross-departmental collaboration. Design and implement OKRs, KPIs, and metrics to achieve business objectives.

  • Ensure successful execution and delivery of projects aligned with Credit Ratings' strategic goals, maintaining alignment with defined business value.

  • Maintain open communication with stakeholders about project progress, developments, and potential risks, promoting transparency and engagement.

  • Serve as the primary contact for initiative stakeholders, managing escalations as needed.

  • Apply lean and agile methodologies to achieve objectives, exemplifying desired behaviors and supporting analytical teams with standardized approaches.

  • Foster conditions for maximizing value creation by recognizing team strengths/weaknesses, building consensus, coaching, and supporting data-driven problem-solving.

  • Act as a liaison to drive execution of key initiatives, managing relationships with partners in operations, controls, data, technology, commercial, finance, and HR.

What We’re Looking For:

  • In-depth understanding of S&P Global Ratings’ operations with relevant experience.

  • Proven track record in leading large-scale programs and effectively managing stakeholders at all levels.

  • Experience in managing tight deadlines, adapting to changing requirements, and working with limited resources.

  • Self-driven and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

  • Proactive, determined, and able to work autonomously with minimal guidance.

  • Exhibit emotional intelligence and collaborative skills to achieve optimal outcomes.

  • Strong communication, influencing skills, and a continuous improvement mindset supported by problem-solving abilities.

  • A strong customer focus, including an understanding of customer needs and product usage.

  • Demonstrated experience in project management, ideally within financial services or credit ratings.

  • Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.

  • An S&P Global employee at this level would typically have 10+ years of experience in Financial Services, Data & Analytics, Operations, or related fields.

Qualifications:

  • Ideally hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline.

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $166,577 to $208,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well
