We are seeking a motivated and experienced security professional to serve as the Primary COMSEC Manager for a large COMSEC account at our McKinney, Texas facility. The successful candidate will oversee the management, security, and compliance of COMSEC materials and equipment, ensuring alignment with National Security Agency (NSA) requirements. This role involves local travel to other locations as needed. This position requires that you have excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills, as well as having the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
What You Will Do
- Prepare, ship, order, receive, and maintain COMSEC equipment and encryption keys, while tracking supersession dates and submitting accurate, timely NSA accounting reports.
- Perform software upgrades on encryptors and secure telephone equipment, as well as manage fill devices, encryptors, and secure voice product schedules. Conduct and reconcile COMSEC inventories, compliance validations, and incident reporting/investigations, ensuring adherence to NSA/CSS Policy Manual 3-16 and other related COMSEC doctrines such as NSTISSIs and CNSSIs.
- Use DIAS application for accountability actions and assist in implementing local Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Operations Security (OPSEC) Plans, and COMSEC procedures.
- Be responsible for training COMSEC users and accountants.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Experience in managing COMSEC materials, including receipt, safeguarding, and destruction.
- Experience as a COMSEC Account Manager or Alternate.
- Experience with End Cryptographic Unit (ECU) and Sectera vIPer load/fill procedures.
- Experinece working with NSA CSSM Policy 3-16, and related COMSEC doctrine.
- Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, orAn Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
Qualifications We Prefer
- NSA COMSEC certification (preferred).
- Experience troubleshooting COMSEC equipment.
- Knowledge of legacy COMSEC equipment and Windows-based systems management.
- Familiarity with vIPer/STE phones, data transfer devices (DTDs), Simple Key Loader (SKL), Secure DTD 2000 System (SDS), RASKL, etc.
- Experience with writing various Program Security Plans (e.g., SOP, SPP, TCP, CI, OPSEC, Transportation, etc.).

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
