About the Role

How you will contribute:

• Performing compliance audits and interact with company products-related vendors.
• Creating metrics to help track compliance.
• Assessing quality and ensuring all products are free from defects and in compliance with manufacturing specifications and government standards.

• Ensuring that all vendors meet all applicable regulatory requirements
• Ensure proper assessment and documentation of any supplier-related controls and/or hazards within the material/product risk assessment
• Maintain records and documentation related to supplier certifications and documentation within the supplier compliance platform (SharePoint)
• Work with the Quality and Operations Management to develop and update material specifications for finished goods and raw materials.
• Review supplier audits to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Work to find solutions for exceptions and discrepancies with the Materials and Inventory Control teams.
•  Track and perform submissions associated with product testing protocols for materials and finished products
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures and work instructions for current processes and provide process training as necessary
• Process order set up via preferred internal system to include but not limited to EDI feeds or manual creation.
• Ensure that all internal quality functions comply to the customers standards and expectations
• Carry out supplier and internal 2nd party audits as well as participate in 3rd party audits when requested

• And all other duties assigned

 

Your Key Qualifications

• High school diploma required; knowledge of quality standards (ISO9001, 14001, 45001) a plus.
• Experience as an auditor in a Logistics and/or Manufacturing environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication, analytical, and organizational skills. 
• Experience working within an industrial/warehouse environment.
