Part-Time Faculty Position: CSHD 249 Applied Regression Analysis

Description
The Eliot-Pearson Department of Child Study and Human Development at Tufts University is seeking a part-time Lecturer for Spring 2026 to teach CSHD 249. This course is designed to provide graduate students and upper-level undergraduate students with an introduction to the concepts, methods, and applications of aspects of regression analysis, with a focus on its application within developmental science. The emphasis is on conducting, interpreting, and reporting the results of several regression techniques using real data sets. This class is scheduled to be taught on Thursdays from 9:00 am-12:00 pm.
Qualifications
Expertise in applied statistics for the social and behavioral sciences (e.g., child development, human development, education, psychology). Doctorate and college-level teaching experience preferred.
The mission of the Eliot-Pearson Department of Child Study and Human Development is to enhance the lives of children and families in diverse communities and contexts using collaborative, multidisciplinary approaches in ways that reflect the integration of research and practice - understood in the context of culture and community. The department has undergraduate and graduate programs in several areas of developmental science and applied human development. Our teaching also serves students in other Tufts departments and schools (e.g., Psychology, Computer Science, Community Health, Urban & Environmental Policy and Planning).
