Quality Assurance Engineer - contractor

This role is based out in NYC

We’re looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer who is skilled at identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects. In this role, you will support our internal systems and ensure they are up and running production software to drive successful internal demos, and tracking of issues as we scale. You’ll be collaborating cross functionally with the QA Team and other Engineers as we continue to harden our product and prepare for launch.

This is an amazing opportunity for you to own the quality and uptime of internal systems and develop your QA, organizational, and communication skills as we revolutionize the massage therapy industry.

What You’ll Do 

• Attend the NYC office regularly to assess device readiness for demonstrations and they are running the latest production software.

• Diligently identify and document any issues, bugs, or findings encountered during the assessment process.

• Effectively communicate the status of the devices, providing clear and concise updates to relevant stakeholders.

• Systematically collect logs and other pertinent data to the development team.

• Familiarity with Git, bash, and Docker is a plus.
  

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.

• 2+ years of experience in Quality Assurance.

• Experience working in a highly matrixed organization.

• Knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.

• Real attention to detail and a genuine passion for quality.

• Proactive Communication. 

• Ability to debug.
