Maintenance Technician - 2nd shift

Join us as a Maintenance Technician in our Louisville, KY facility. 

You will be responsible for ensuring the prompt and accurate completion of both preventative and corrective maintenance tasks.  Completion of these tasks will help ensure that all of production lines experience minimal downtime.

• The anticipated hourly pay range for this role is: $23.00 – $27.00/hr. DOE. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be determined by considering demonstrable level of experience, skills, knowledge, and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, and other relevant business or organizational needs.  11 paid holidays each year

More details about the opportunity:   

• Install, maintain, and repair a wide variety of machines, tooling, attachments, and accessories 

• Diagnose, disassemble, reassemble, repair, and or replace parts 

• Make adjustments/ alignments to verify correct machine function to optimal standards 

• Simple cutting and welding, light fabrication 

• Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives 

• Collaborate with the EHS Manager to improve safety through guarding, staging, shelving 

• Ability to work from complex drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics. 

• Minor building repairs 

• Operate preventative maintenance system “E-Maintenance” after completing assigned work orders 

• Maintain and repair forklifts, scissors lifts and pallet jacks. 

• Hydraulic and airline installation and repair. 

• Troubleshoot variable drives and PLC diagnostics 

• Bilingual is a plus

• Must be proficient with shop mathematics, charts, tables, and handbook formulas

• Must have at least 3 years in Industrial Maintenance and have electrical experience.

Position hours/shifts:   

• 2nd shift:  2:30pm – 11:00pm Monday - Friday 

• Mandatory OT on alternating Saturdays  

Physical Requirements: 

• Physical requirements are standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting, and lowering weights up to 40lbs.
