Senior Software Engineer - Supply Chain

About the Role

Dandy is hiring a team of top software engineers to build digital products and scale our managed marketplace. You will play a key role in building our tech team. You'll constantly be challenged to learn new technologies, establish best practices, and be given the freedom to solve problems on your own and learn by doing.

We are creating next-generation experiences across the evolving Dandy Supply Chain stack. This is the backbone of the manufacturing side of the business, responsible for helping plan, route, organize and deliver on the world’s largest custom manufacturing business. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be key to the development of this platform.

Relevant technologies: TypeScript, Node, GCP, GraphQL

What You'll Do

• Develop order routing logic to deliver the correct order at the correct time to the right node in the chain

• Partner with manufacturing automation on projects including CAD -> CAM automation.

• Support the ability to provide the business with real-time data on the status of an order

• Build rules and software capabilities smooth demand and overall dynamics of the system to optimize workloads

• Work closely with product owners on a feature focused team to deliver value quickly to Dandy’s customers.

What We're Looking For

• 6+ years experience full stack experience

• Substantial experience with backend asynchronous systems

• Experience with logistics and operational domains

• Experience with large and complex production systems

• Strong ability to operate with minimal oversight
