Do you want to build great things in a vibrant, high-energy team? Are you an experienced developer looking to make a greater technical impact? We are looking for an entry- to mid-level engineer to join our development team.

As a software engineer on this team, you should be a strong coder with an interest in distributed systems. You should value simplicity and scalability, work comfortably in a collaborative, agile environment, and be eager to learn and be mentored.

In this role, you will:

  • Work on the design and development of major components and features within OCI core platform services.
  • Ensure that our cloud infrastructure solutions are designed and built for scalability and reliability.
  • Partner with other development teams to architect, design, and implement solutions in a distributed computing environment.
  • Conduct threat modeling for systems under development, ensuring alignment with security, identity, metrics, and search requirements in the design, development, and deployment of distributed systems.
Qualifications
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 1–3 years of experience in software development, preferably in cloud engineering.
  • Proficiency in Java, C++, or C#, as well as scripting languages.
  • Experience with service-oriented architectures and web services security solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, agile development environment.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $73,700 to $158,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
