We currently employ pharmacists in both clinical and ambulatory settings with a support staff of technicians in various roles. We are excited to welcome new team members to continue to grow our team and kickstart new careers. We started with 2 pharmacists and 4 technicians and have since expanded into a much larger operation with services at multiple pharmacy locations such as:</span></p><ul><li><p><span><span>meds-to-beds</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>employee prescriptions</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>pharmacy navigators embedded in clinics</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Specialty Pharmacy</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Mail Order Pharmacy</span></span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><span>The pharmacy is a 24/7 operation. Shifts are typically 8 to 10 hours and will be scheduled in the M-F 7a-9p, Sa-Sun 8a-6p time frames. With rotating weekends and holidays. Full time, 40 hours per week. Occasional shifts at other Reading Hospital Retail Pharmacy locations.</span></p><p><br/><span><span>A Concierge Pharmacy Technician is a position in the Ambulatory pharmacy with responsibilities both in the pharmacy and within the hospital. This technician coordinates between hospital units and the pharmacy to ensure patient discharge medications are received, processed, and any issues resolved prior to the patient's discharge from the hospital. A candidate with strong communication, problem-solving skills, and retail/community pharmacy experience would be a good fit for this role.</span></span></p><p></p><p><span><b><span>Responsibilities:</span></b></span></p><ul><li><p><span><span>Collaborates with internal team members to gather appropriate paperwork, prescription billing information, &/or prescriptions.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Answers inbound telephone calls and triages calls to appropriate staff</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Responsible for creating a patient profile in the pharmacy information system.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Enters all necessary prescription plan information in the patient profile for processing and adjudicating patient’s prescriptions.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Supports all Concierge Service related activities from prescription intake to bedside delivery at time of patient discharge.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Complies with all established regulatory and organizational policies and procedures.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Participates in program marketing and promotional campaigns.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Assists in establishing policies and procedures specific to the Concierge Services Program including; indigent drug program, Patient Assistance Programs, and Pharmacy exception processes.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Serves as primary Ambulatory Pharmacy resource to facilitate access and resolve all required discharge medication related issues. Including but not limited to; formulary/coverage issues, copay issues, patient assistance program eligibility, and other indigent programs.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Prepares inventory reports for pharmacist review to purchase.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Submits, receives, and places inventory in stock by utilizing knowledge of order placement, receiving, and merchandising.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Provides follow-up to patients and family for pharmaceutical needs and/or additional eligibility information to ensure on-going medication access.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Works with appropriate departments and internal patient care team members regarding patients who have limited financial resources for prescription medication and collaborates as required to cr
