At Erie Home, we’re not just managing projects—we’re driving transformation. As a Senior Project Manager in our Enterprise Project Management Office (ePMO), you'll lead strategic initiatives that enhance profitability, streamline operations, and improve the customer and employee experience.


Reports to: 

Director of Project Management & Solution Delivery


Responsibilities:

  • Partner with stakeholders to define project objectives, ensuring alignment with business goals and vision.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for project sponsors, providing transparency into scope, resources, constraints, and budget status.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, keeping projects on track, managing risks, and proactively removing roadblocks.
  • Identify risks and course-correct efficiently, using predictive analytics or reporting tools to recognize early warning signs of project derailment.
  • Balance big-picture strategy with execution, leveraging data dashboards and performance tracking to ensure clarity and alignment.
  • Make data-informed decisions in partnership with stakeholders, using business intelligence tools to monitor project KPIs and performance.
  • Develop and maintain project deliverables, including charters, risk assessments, communication strategies, and training/testing plans.
  • Oversee the full project lifecycle, from initial planning and resource allocation to execution, monitoring, and delivery, integrating automation tools where applicable.
  • Partner with business leaders, technical teams, and external vendors to ensure stakeholder expectations are understood and managed effectively.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing transparency and insights through regular reporting dashboards and performance analytics.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement, leveraging Agile or Waterfall methodologies where appropriate.
  • Enhance ePMO capabilities by refining methodologies, frameworks, and technology stack, ensuring adaptability to evolving business needs.
  • Promote a company-wide culture that embraces project management excellence and best practices.
  • Drive efficiency and effectiveness in project delivery, optimizing workflows with automation, data visualization, and AI-powered insights.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years in a Project Manager role managing projects, programs, or strategic initiatives.
  • Experience with both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
  • Proficient with a variety of technologies, including ERP, CRM, HCM, Automation, and Project Management software.
  • Strong transformational leadership skills with the ability to lead through influence and clear communication.
  • Demonstrated commitment to fostering a team-oriented environment.
