Job Description
S&S Activewear is seeking an operations Manager to lead the operations of our NV distribution center. The ideal candidate will be is responsible for contributing to the development and tactical execution of Distribution Center (DC) strategic building objectives. This role will drive all aspects of processes and operations to include, but not limited to planning, organizing, and overseeing the receiving, inventory, and shipping functions to ensure a smooth and consistent operation while effectively satisfying customer needs. The Operations Manager plans and directs DC activity to attain business objectives through effective leadership, cost reduction, productivity improvement, risk mitigation, and strategic compliance. All S&S Activewear employees must adhere and enforce the guidelines presented in the S&S Activewear Employee Handbook.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Promote, develop, and maintain a work environment that promotes employee inclusion, recognition and effective communication.
- Maintain effective, positive employee relations in the facility, in order to enable S&S Activewear to attract, retain, and motivate highly qualified employees.
- Interpret company strategy and translate those thoughts into the tactical plans and actions necessary for the Distribution Center to appropriately execute and support those strategies.
- Assign projects within the scope of responsibility.
- Hire, train, appraise and coach management-level team members.
- Develop the facility's operating strategies, to manage future growth, improve quality and reduce operating cost
- Provide and promote a safe work environment.
- Ensure compliance of all company policies, including but not limited to, all Federal, State and local OSHA regulations.
- Direct major facility changes upon approval from corporate office.
- Maintain an effective system of communicating relevant information to and from the corporate office.
- Direct and develop the local professional management/leadership team.
- Setting, implementing, and maintaining local-based standards and measurement tools and processes
- Implementing new technologies and systems as required
- Ensuring high-demand, wholesale customer's expectations
