Overview: 

The Intern – Finance will receive training on various forms of Managerial and Regulatory reporting. The Intern will be responsible for analyzing existing procedures for reporting, identifying necessary enhancements, enhancing procedures for reporting functions that do not currently have procedures and supporting streamlining of reporting. The right candidate will have a sense of urgency and a strong commitment to delivering best in class service.  

The goals of this internship will be to acquire knowledge on Banking. Internships will run during Summer 2025 months for 10-12 weeks. Interns are expected to work 40 hours per week.

What You Will Learn To Do During This Internship:

• The Intern will receive valuable real-world exposure to a wide breadth of managerial and regulatory reporting, related Finance/Accounting concepts, and gain experience working with various data sources to produce and streamline reporting.
• Duties and roles assigned to the department
• Processing functions within the department
• Assisting with the processes and functions within the assigned department.

Project To Be Completed During Internship:

· The Intern will present on Procedures created, enhancements made, and progress made on streamlining reporting.

Requirements

What We Are Looking For:

· Intern is required to be a current Junior or Senior level university student in a Finance or Accounting program (preferred). 

· Economics or Business Administration and Management programs are also potentially acceptable.

· Excellent communication skills – written and verbal,

· MS Office Suite (especially Word and Power Point) and Advanced Excel skills.

· Must be available to work full-time during the Credit Union’s core business hours.

The pay range for this position is: $20.00 / hour
