Salary Range: $75,680- $82,000
Job Description
The HR Generalist partners effectively with leaders and associates at our community by:
- Serving as a point-of-contact for associates and managers for guidance on Human Resource matters.
- .Prepares new hire on-boarding process once employees are on-site at the community.
- Prepares and conducts new hire orientation.
- Processes paperwork for functional area according to established procedures
- Responsible for completing a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the Human Resources Department.
Qualifications
At Springhill, we are looking for a HR Generalist to provide support and leadership to the entire campus.
Our HR Generalist:
- Partners effectively with leaders and associates to attract, engage, develop, retain, and empower a talented workforce
- Develops a strong understanding of the organization, including strategy, goals, and challenges to anticipate, assess, and address systemic HR issues and works with the Regional Human Resources Director (HRD) to build a structure and support system that supports the overall strategy
- Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to leadership and management including coaching, counseling, education, career development, disciplinary actions under the direction and guidance of the Regional HRD
- Maintains an in-depth knowledge of policies & procedures, legal requirements related to day-to-day management of associates, and risk management to provide competent interpretation and guidance to leadership and management.
- Facilitates the recruitment and onboarding process
- Maintains the compliance with all associate personnel files and other records in line with regulatory requirements and organizational expectations
- Monitors all LOA and FMLA processes along with Workers Compensation management
- Ensures the timely processing of all personnel changes relating to payroll, benefits, employment status, etc.
Requirements:
- Minimum three (3) years’ progressive experience as a human resources Generalist role
- Experience in employee relations preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, business or related field required
- Human Resources certification a plus but not required
