TechFlow, Inc. is hiring CBRN Field Service Representatives to support the United States Army Reserve Command (USARC) through command and control operations for homeland security. As a Field Service Representative, you will maintain Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) equipment for the Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Response Enterprise (CRE). Responsibilities
- Provide technical program and equipment expertise of COTS CBRNE equipment
- Identify systemic problem trends and/or recurring equipment quality issues and provides feedback to supervisors and field units.
- Recommend actions to resolve logistics management and operational problems with the goal of optimizing and improving current processes and systems.
- Participate in designated CBRN meetings, conferences, and workshops.
- Design, implement, monitor, and assess processes to train maintainers and users of systems/tools.
- Create, update, and publish a wide range of technical documents including, task-specific user manuals, policies, plans, equipment checklists, and other technical writings.
- Gather and disseminate logistical information including readiness reports, pending shipment status, and maintenance records.
- Maintain and provide input to Logistics Information System (LIS)
- Conduct and review maintenance actions (corrective and preventative) at both off- and on-site locations
- Verify services and/or repairs conducted by vendors.
- Locate local reputable vendors to conduct maintenance actions.
- Conduct cost analysis for maintenance actions.
- Generate reports via the LIS for, but not limited to, Product Support Assessments and Analysis, Asset Visibility and Availability, Inventories, Work Order status, Engineering Analyses, Systems and Equipment Performance Calculations, Warranty Status, OEM Support Agreements, and Consumables Usage.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience performing logistics management for complex military systems or 10+ years for senior-level Field Service Representative to include the following.
- Experience coordinating and managing Supply Chain Management including Requisitioning, Stocking and Reporting, Warehousing, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) material and Calibration support, Inventory and Shelf-Life Management, Government Furnished Property Management, System Configuration Management, Engineering Support, Warranty and addressing and mitigating Obsolescence issues and Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) for military equipment and systems.
- Ability to travel up to 75% to various sites
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with navigating logistics information systems utilizing such software applications as IBM’s Maximo asset management software.
- Must be able to walk, stoop, bend, and lift 50 pounds.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of a 2-year or more technician or comparable university of college training program that resulted in a degree or industry certification.
- Experience working with Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and High-Yield Explosives (CBRNE), Force Protection Defense Systems, and/or First Responder systems and equipment deployed/fielded to the U.S. military.
