Introduction

We are looking for a motivated Automotive Diesel Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and servicing a variety of diesel engines and related systems. You will be expected to maintain the highest level of professionalism and safety standards in all areas of your work. With strong technical ability and excellent customer service skills, you will be able to provide accurate diagnostics and repairs that meet customer expectations. If you are passionate about the automotive industry and have a strong desire to work in a fast-paced environment, then this position is for you!

Job Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair automotive diesel systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, and electrical systems
  • Perform oil changes, tune-ups, and other preventative maintenance
  • Test and inspect vehicles and components to diagnose and identify mechanical problems
  • Utilize diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot and repair components
  • Adjust and repair emission control systems and components
  • Repair and replace faulty components and systems
  • Repair and replace parts, such as spark plugs and hoses
  • Inspect and adjust ignition, carburetion, and fuel systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair brakes, exhaust systems, and other components
  • Perform and document safety and maintenance inspections
  • Follow instructions from service and repair manuals
  • Maintain a clean and orderly workspace


Requirements

Job Requirements

  • Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work well with others
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects
  • Ability to work on vehicles in a variety of positions and environments
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends when needed
