Finance Manager – Product & Tech Strategy Finance

We’re currently seeking a Finance Manager to join our Expedia Product & Tech Strategy Finance team. This key role collaborates across all levels of the organization through partnering closely with the Product & Tech Strategy Team, Planning & Business Operations, Analytics & Expedia Group Finance Teams to drive commercial discussions forward. You will operate as part of a global team and contribute to delivering the Product & Tech Finance vision of driving long-term strategic and scalable growth for EG, through tracking and reporting of Strategic initiatives, linking financials through to operational KPIs, establishing accurate ROI, and being key to refining and delivering on Strategic Plans.
What you'll do:
Develop a shared understanding of key operational metrics and work alongside Analytics to track and link operational metrics to financial performance, including the ability to consume multiple data sources and identify interdependencies
Build out an end to end consolidated view of tracking and reporting of the Product & Tech strategic initiatives that best serves Product & Tech leadership
Serve as one of the key Finance business partners to provide accurate end to end financial management of Product & Tech strategic initiatives. This includes assisting with managing monthly valuation tracking of ~180+ initiatives, reporting to leadership, identifying and reporting on risk & opportunities to financial plan, and provide solid business decision-making to aid prioritization and resource allocation
Assist in establishing an accurate methodology for ROI on the strategic initiatives to help drive prioritization decisions
Help lead on the yearly Strategic Plan process working across multiple EG divisions
Identify and drive automation projects to improve process efficiency of models and reporting
Assist in building out content and commentary of PowerPoint deck presentations for leadership to best deliver the story of strategic performance
Support senior leadership and cross-functional business partners with timely, accurate, actionable financial analysis
Who you are:
Bachelor’s or Master's degree in a related field; or equivalent related professional experience
6+ years of work experience required in a similar commercial, analytical and business partnering role within Finance, Customer Analytics or Business Operations
Strategic thinker, excellent business acumen, comfortable working with ambiguity in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and a passion for inspiring change and continuous improvement
Ability to run projects and processes independently
Excellent relationship management skills, including ability to develop strong working relationships with stakeholders and business process owners to define and drive strategic and operational initiatives including change management associated with initiatives
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to interpret and present data in a visually compelling format to financial and non-finance partners, under tight deadlines
Attention to detail and a commitment to data integrity
Strong financial modelling, and analytical skills with excellent understanding of business P&L
Results driven and highly motivated, with the ability to think big and small
Highly proficient with Excel and PowerPoint
Experience with Hyperion a plus

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $110,500.00 to $155,000.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $177,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained perfoApply for this role
