We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Recruiting Manager specializing in Airline Operations to join our Talent Acquisition team. In this role, you will help build the talent acquisition strategy and manage end-to-end recruitment for various airline operations positions, starting by building a strong pipeline of qualified, safety-focused pilots who meet our operational and regulatory standards. You’ll partner closely with Archer’s various Airline Operations leaders to attract, assess, and hire exceptional talent across their organization.
What you’ll do
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for our airline roles, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
- Develop and maintain strategic sourcing pipelines through aviation networks, flight schools, military transitions, job fairs, and online platforms.
- Collaborate with members of the greater People Team to build and execute the recruiting strategy to meet the key business milestones and hiring needs
- Collaborate with Airline Operations, Training, and HR to understand hiring needs, certification requirements, and crew complement plans.
- Ensure all candidates meet licensing, regulatory, and experience requirements as set by [FAA / EASA / local aviation authority].
- Maintain accurate candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and provide timely updates to hiring managers.
- Represent the company at career fairs, industry conferences, and campus events to promote our employer brand.
- Monitor pilot market trends, salary benchmarks, and competitor hiring activities to inform recruitment strategy.
- Active participation in recruiting demands across the greater organization, including other recruiting related programs
What you’ll need
- 8+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with at least 3 years focused on pilot or aviation hiring.
- Proven experience recruiting and hiring for airline operations roles, with a focus on pilot hiring
- Strong understanding of pilot licensing (e.g., CPL, ATPL), ratings, and flight experience criteria.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment analytics tools.
Bonus Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Aviation Management, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Familiarity with FAA / EASA / ICAO pilot certification standards.
- Experience using Google Workspace and Greenhouse
Knowledge of unions or collective bargaining agreements related to flight crew hiring.

We drive a pay-for-performance culture and reward performance that supports the Company’s business strategy. For this position we are targeting a base pay between $145,200 - $181,200. Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
