This position will be located in Huntsville, AL and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
What You’ll Get To Do:
The candidate will be responsible for allocating 20% of their time to Functional Homeroom Support to include activities such as: assessing staffing needs, supporting recruitment activities, career development recommendations, mentoring, discipline, as necessary. The selected candidate will allocate the remaining 80% of their time dedicated to performing SCRUM Master functions, requirement development, Software Development, and technical responsibilities, which are based on mission needs. This role may include Cost Account Management duties.
This position is a dual-hat position requiring the candidate to perform functional management activities as well as program responsibilities.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with 6 years of software development experience; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need
- Minimum 1 year of experience leading a project and/or driving performance against a schedule.
- Experience in software development using languages such as C++, JavaScript, SQL
- Experience with Agile principles, AGILE certification
- Experience leading Software Engineering teams
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- An active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope
- Experience with individual contributor performance assessments
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
- Strong critical thinking and logical reasoning skills with the ability to solve issues and predict potential programmatic and technical risks
- Operates independently with limited to no supervision, and the ability to establish a solid working relationship with technical staff, peers, and customers
- Able to assimilate information from multiple sources, create coherent plans and then execute those plans
- Experience with MBSE and development of UML design
- Prior experience interfac
