We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Front-end Developer to join our dynamic and innovative team. As a Senior Front-end Developer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience within the payments and accounts domains but you will also have the opportunity of exploring other domains. Your expertise and contributions will directly impact our global business, ensuring scalability and delivering exceptional experiences for our users. This role will be sitting in our Conversion tribe and you will be part of a 7 member team.

Your responsibilities will be:

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to architect, build, and enhance user experiences in the payments and accounts domains.
• Write clean, efficient, and testable code that ensures fast and reliable performance.
• Contribute to the future of our architecture, incorporating scalability and growth in mind.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement the best possible features and functionality.
• Stay up-to-date with front-end development best practices and trends, sharing knowledge and insights with team members.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional front-end development experience.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a strong understanding of React.
• Experience with building responsive and accessible user interfaces.
• Strong knowledge of web performance optimisation techniques and best practices.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and reusable code.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• A drive to learn and improve yourself and others around you

Nice to have:

• Basic Ruby/Rails knowledge
• CoffeeScript
• SASS
• Backbone.js
• Experience with AWS Cloud Infrastructure Services
• Experience working with Docker for development purposes
• Experience with containerization and Kubernetes
