The Summit Area YMCA (SAY) is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Enrichment Director to lead and manage our special needs, senior, teen, and adult enrichment programs. The ideal candidate will be passionate about making a positive impact on individuals' lives, fostering a welcoming environment, and promoting inclusive and engaging activities. They are responsible for staff supervision, fiscal management, program management, program development, as well as community development, outreach and relationship building related to the successful operation of these programs. The program portfolio includes Adult Enrichment Programs, Special Needs programs, Teen Enrichment Programs, Teen programming expansion, summer outdoor pool programming and other programs as assigned.

  • Are skilled in managing multiple programs, schedules, and administrative tasks efficiently.
  • Are calm under pressure. Maintaining composure and understanding when working with diverse populations and addressing their needs.
  • Have a proven ability at developing engaging and innovative programs that meet the needs of all participants.
  • Are aware of and respectful towards different cultural backgrounds and practices.

Salary & Benefits:

This Full Time position, is scheduled to work 40 hour each with and may include night and weekend hours depending on program needs. The salary range for this role is $52,000- $55,000 annually and is based on experience. Essential Functions:

  • Plans, implements, supervises, and evaluates the teen and adult enrichment programs.
  • Plans, implements, supervises, and evaluates all special needs programs.
  • Works closely with Director of Mission Advancement and Teen & Equity Director to insure effective and efficient high-quality programs and services. 
  • Hires, trains, develops, supervises, and manages performance of employees and volunteers.
  • Promotes and incorporates the YMCA core values and character development models into all program activities.
  • Plans, manages and communicates program areas yearly calendar of events.
  • Builds relationships with various organizations and others in the community to deliver adult, special needs and teen services within and outside of the SAY.
  • Works with volunteers to create and implement community service projects.
  • Prepares, administers and monitors online registration process in Daxko for all events throughout the year.
