You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver strong customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with a caring, agile, and reliable approach, working as part of a team that values innovation and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utility location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and help to confirm that visitors, vendors, and/or contractors follow site entry requirements, badge procedures, and restricted area protocols.
• Prepare clear, timely reports on incidents, patrol activity, and/or notable observations, and report maintenance, access control, or other security-related concerns according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
